Cultural Exchange Program
-Cultural Exchange program is open for groups of 20 students or more, and they are designed to immerse students into the American culture outside of the ESL classroom.
-Each program is tailor made to meet the criteria and needs for each group’s educational purpose.
-FOA can conduct ESL classes are instructed around specific subjects, and vocabulary. Classes can be taught to educate students on American culture, arts, science, history, and many other subjects.
-FOA brings students into actual American run Companies, communities, events, and even to into American schools.
-Offered only during yearly school calendar and depends on school’s availability
-A day visit to a University, local highschool, middle schools, or elementary school can be provided during the school year when their school is in session.
-A tour of the campus and classroom ovservation of various subjects.
-Be paired up with one or more American student to follow them during their classes, activities, or the tour around campus. They could observe sporting events, or school talent show.
-Participate in sporting activities with fellow local American students.
-Share culture by presenting crafts or speak about their homeland.
-International schools abroad and local schools in Orange county/Los Angeles area have the delightful opportunity to learn about different cultures through academic daily routines. The International students has the privilege to observe their American peers during classroom hours, lunch/class breaks, and even afternoon activities. Students can learn American schools operate with first person observation, while sharing about their cultural academic background.
Students can attend our ESL Courses
-An entertaining and experienced native English speaker will instruct all courses. Lessons may be divided upon English levels from beginning to more advance classes, depending on the level of each student. Classes may vary in different subject matter depending on group's speical requests.
-The English training will begin from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Lessons will focus on conversation, grammar, and writing focusing around the group's subject requirements.
-All students are encourage to only speak English in the classrooms, and must participate with all activities such as various English games; one on one English interactions; or presentations in from of classmates. Students are normally grouped up in order to help each other with exercises. Classes are design to be fun, but they also make sure to push students to practice their individual English ability.
-Writing and grammar lessons are provided, and practice during each sessions. All students will write thank you letters to their host families, schools, and company tours they visited during their stay.
Agents and Schools
Each program are designed to specifically meet the criteria of your agency or school requests with various popular attractions, educational tours, and activities. Cost of programs will change depending on excursions requests, attraction admission, homestay fees, and transportation provided.

Student can visit local Companies that are Internatioanlly Acclaimed.
Company tours are provided upon request, and students will have a chance to visit a factory or office of a working company in the Los Angeles or Orange County area.
---A tour is provided by one of the employees and he/she will take students around the building or factory to observe their different departments, and discuss extensively on how the company
functions, the products or services they provide, and how their products are made.
-Additionally, they will talk about the history of the company and how they began, and discuss how their product is distributed, marketed, and the locations they will be headed to.
-It is a way to get a subjective glance on how a company starts from the bottom and turn into a nationally or internally renown name. These tours are educational and inspiring to all who attend.
-Previous tours were conducted at Hurley, Oakley, Fender, Mazda, and more.
International students will have a chance to live with an American family during their adventure.
-Each host family provides the comfort and safety of a family while providing room and board for the student. All families will incorpate them within their family life, and take them to family or friend gatherings
-Students will have the chance to learn English through genuine interactions and conversations by staying with families who live in the Orange County and Los Angeles Country area.
-Each family is visited before approval. Host families provide two meals a day, a comfortable clean bed, help with transportation, warm family interaction, and much more.
Outdoor fun Activities!
Southern California is known for their year-round sunny warm weather, and for their beaches. This is the reason the beach is open all year long, and all of FOA’s students will have the chance to visit their famous coast line to either Hunting Beach, Newport beach, or Laguna Beach.
-Huntington Beach is know for their waves, and it’s also called “Surf City”. It is a beach community and its where most suffers practice their moves. It host the annual US surf open; an international competition where suffers from all over the world come to compete.
-Laguna Beach is known for its beauty and artistic charm. Laguna Beach is a small and quant city with a lively art scene, and hills that lead close to the coastline to set a picturesque view no matter where you are.
-Newport beach has both beauty and waves. There are many shops and restaurants to visit while walking around the area.
-The duration of International student's visit can be one to three days(depending on school's arrangement).
-The visit can be a full school day activity or just during mornings or afternoons.
-It is a chance for all students to make friends, and English immersion for international students.
Filming Project Adventure!
Join the fun adventure of filming all around the Los Angeles area. International students will have the opportunity to become actors, directors, and to fully embrace the fun of being film makers. They will be able to create a project that can be both entertianing and fun!
Have your group Visit Local Police or Fire stations!
One of the highlights for every visit is walking through a real fire or police department. Expect a friendly-guided tour by an actual police officer or fireman. They will take you around the station, and show students how they do their job, and the equipment they use.
---Fire stations may have students try on their uniform that they use for actually fire runs, and even have them hold the hose connected to fire truck to demonstrate how heavy their equipment can be.
---Police officers will discuss their safety procedure and also specify many safety tips to students. Police officers will discuss their daily routines which gives a special insight on their duties and responsibilities.
